Ethan River Tawwater

Ethan Tawwater was born in Dallas, Texas on July 18, 2021. Ethan passed away on October 23, 2024, in Garland, Texas at the age of 23. Ethan grew up in Washington State and joined Junior ROTC at Battle Ground High School where he proudly competed in multiple competitions and excelled with Drill Rifle. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps shortly after graduation. He enjoyed working on helicopters and was discharged as a Lance Corpl.

Upon discharge, Ethan moved to Texas to be surrounded by family and friends. He worked at GT Distributors and was their leading sales representative. He was actively pursuing enrollment for Fall 2025 Aviation Engineering degree at Texas A&M University.

He is survived by his father, Gary Tawwater; mother Becky Tawwater and Robin Sherrell; brothers Andrew, Peyton and Nathan; Grandparents, Tawwaters, Bolmans, and Sherrells.

A homegoing service will be held at Galloway Baptist Church, Friday, November 1, 2024 at 2:00PM officiated by Gary Wagner.
