The life of Ewing S. Moseley Jr. ended on December 11, 2025. Known as Sandy to his family and friends, he was born on January 4, 1934.
He received his Christian education at St. Mathew’s Cathedral and his academic education in the Highland Park schools. Sandy served in the USAF for over six years, and later in life graduated from the Dallas Citizens Police Academy. He was a founding member of St. Michaels Episcopal Church, and attended Church of the Incarnation in his final years. He was also a life-long subscriber to the Dallas News.
A requiem Eucharist was held at Church of the Incarnation on January 23. His body was willed to UT Southwestern Medical Center, and ashes will eventually be interred at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery Columbarium.
He is survived by nephew Tim Dyes, great-niece Renee Jansen, and numerous relatives and friends.
