Fay Andrea Davis

Fay Andrea Davis, 86 went to be with her heavenly father on February 3, 2026. Born on February 3, 1940 in Niles, Michigan she was the youngest child of Ralph and Hazel (Chapman) Fergison.

She was preceded in death by her brothers George Fergison and Edward Fergison. She is survived by sons Carl (Sally) Davis Jr. and Dan Davis and daughter Michelle (Tim) Willis; 7 grandchildren, Shelby Davis, Blake Davis, Jenny (Gabe) Lee, Daniele Davis, Jonathan Willis, Rebecca Willis, and Renee Willis and 4 great-grandchildren.

Fay graduated from Niles High School in 1957. She raised her family in Niles working as a hair stylist before moving to Buchanan, Michigan. In 2025 she moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan to be closer to her family.

Along her life's journey, her witty sense of humor and caring nature endeared her to many. She valued family and developed close personal friendships wherever she went. Spending quality time with family and friends she loved dearly was what brought her the greatest joy.

There will be a celebration of life for Fay in late Spring, early Summer in Niles.

The family would like to thank the staff at Edison Independent and Skilled Nursing along with the staff of Faith Hospice in Grand Rapids for the loving care of Fay during her time there. Many became valued friends to her.
