Felicitas "Mary" Camarillo

Felicitas "Mary" Camarillo (née Lopez), a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026, in Beecher, Illinois, at the age of 89. Born on November 19, 1936, in Sayula, Jalisco, Mexico, Mary lived a life filled with love, devotion, and kindness.

She was the cherished daughter of the late Jesus and Guadalupe Lopez. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Cipriano Camarillo; her son, Joe Camarillo; and her sister, Cleotilde Gonzales. She is survived by her loving brother Lino Lopez; her devoted daughter Rose Bodie (née Camarillo) and her beloved son-in-law Steve Bodie; as well as many nieces, nephews, godchildren, and countless others whose lives she touched.

A devout Catholic throughout her life, Mary's faith was a cornerstone of her being. Her unwavering belief provided strength and solace during life's challenges and served as an inspiration to those around her. She found immense joy in caring for animals and had a deep compassion that extended to everyone she met. Her warmth and generosity left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

In her later years, Mary faced the challenges of dementia with grace and courage. Though it took her memory in time, it could never diminish the love she gave or the legacy she leaves behind.

May Mary's memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
