On May 13, 1957, the world would make way for Frances Elizabeth Hubbard. She was born in Wadesboro, NC , to the late Jimmy Lee Hubbard and Bernice "Lois" Hamer (Horne). Frances was born into what would become a large family, it was a lot of them.
Frances spent most of her younger years being raised in High Point, NC.. She would later in her teen years move to Greensboro, NC, making that her home. After graduating from Grimsley Senior High in 1975, she devoted most of her life to being a mother, and helper to any and everyone she encountered. She worked for the Guilford County schools for many years. She enjoyed every minute of seeing those students every day.
Frances had a heart of gold, always putting others before herself, she would not have it any other way. Her two daughters, and grandsons was her world. Frances loved life, and she lived every minute of it doing what SHE enjoyed. A great portion of her time was always spent on the phone conversing with her sisters. She was always the life of any gathering, dancing, smiling, and telling jokes. Her favorite quote was, "Live Life Now, Tomorrow is never promised." She was a beautiful soul inside and out, and made sure everyone felt loved.
Preceding her in death are grandson, Tyshawn Reese; sister, Betty Hargrove; brothers, Reginald (Kenny) Hubbard, and Daniel Hamer.
Left to forever cherish her beautiful memories are: daughters, Tracy Reese (Shawn), and Jennifer Hubbard (Kenneth) , three grandsons; Sean Watson Jr., Shane Reese, and Jordan Wright, all of Greensboro,NC; sisters, Irene Henderson (Travis) of High Point, NC; Linda Hines and Joan Phyliss Dines, both of Greensboro. Virginia Johnson of Ohio, Margaret Rosado of Oklahoma, and Annie Lee Hubbard of Charlotte, NC; brothers, Boston Hamer (Paulette) of Tennessee, George "Jr" Hamer (Delores), Marion Hamer, both of New York, and Kenneth Barnes of Greensboro. Also left to cherish her memory is her dear friend until the end, for many years, Mr. Barry Dodd of Greensboro, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and grand dogs (Blu, Diamond, DJ, Dior, and Dolce). She will be missed dearly.
