Francis Xavier Bowen

Francis Xavier Bowen, 87, of North Andover, MA, entered into the Lord's eternal care on December 13, 2025. The son of Martin and Bridget Bowen, he was born in Brooklyn and was a lifelong resident of Hicksville, NY. He attended St. Augustine High School in Brooklyn, graduated from St. John's University, and was a career officer with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He was an avid New York sports fan and loved dogs. He was a communicant of St. Ignatius Loyola Church in Hicksville, NY.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Rita Masciello Bowen; daughter, Debra Fullam; sons, Daniel, David, and Douglas; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Martin Bowen, and sisters, Margaret Smith, Mary O'Connor, Eileen Newman, and Theresa Lennon.

A remembrance service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at St. Michael's Church, 196 Main St, North Andover, MA 01845.
