Francis Ray "Frank" Mounce, 68, of Battle Ground, Washington, passed away on December 2, 2023, in Vancouver, WA. He was born on October 19, 1955, in St. Louis, Missouri.

Frank was known for his big heart and generous spirit. He was dearly loved by his family and by all who had the blessing of knowing him. His faith was central to his life; he loved the Lord deeply and sought to extend kindness, joy, and blessings to everyone he met.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen Mounce, and his children James Fox (Linda), Michael Fox (Michelle), and Lisa Mounce. He is also survived by his grandchildren Dylan Fox, Kara Fox, Nick Evett, Kara Evett, Gracie Justus, Jordan Mounce, Jaedan Mounce, Javier Mounce, Jace Mounce, as well as his great-granddaughter Starr Jones-Johnson.

Frank's family also includes several stepchildren, among them Dennis Estes, and Kathy's children Bethany Holt (David), Eric Fangman (Vanessa), and Brad Fangman (Serena), along with her ten grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother, David McDonald.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Melvina Clark and Ray Edward Mounce, and by his brother Sonny Croiser.

Frank was a lifelong learner with a passion for technology and education. He earned an Associate of Arts in Business from St. Charles Community College in St. Charles, Missouri, and later completed his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He obtained numerous professional certifications, including A+, Cisco CCNA, CCNP, and Server 2003, and distinguished himself by winning global Cisco competitions.

Throughout his career, Frank advanced into management roles during many dedicated years in the auto maintenance field. He also served his community as a reserve police officer for the Breckenridge, Missouri Police Department. For eight years, he shared his expertise as an adjunct professor at St. Charles Community College. In the IT field, he worked in a variety of roles, including network engineer, network administrator, systems administrator, network designer, and network project manager.

Frank found joy in visiting the Oregon coast, taking scenic drives, and spending time with his family. His big-hearted nature, infectious laughter, and unwavering care for those he loved will be cherished forever. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Frank passed with peaceful assurance of his future, loving the Lord with all his heart.
