Frank Anthony Forcelli passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026, exactly as he would have wished, surrounded by the love of his wife and two daughters. Frank met every chapter of his life with grit, determination, and a great sense of humor.
Born in 1941 and raised in Yonkers, New York, his east coast upbringing was the foundation to his steadfast mentality. Athletics came naturally to him, and his talent earned him high school recognition as Westchester County’s top all-around three-sport athlete. His passion for teamwork and competition carried him to Missouri State, where he played college football, formed lifelong friendships, and most importantly, met the love of his life, Peggy Mahon. Together they shared over 60 beautiful years of marriage.
After college, he started working as a chemist and quickly decided to follow his dream of flying, becoming a flight instructor and earning his commercial pilot’s license. His professional journey later led him to designing orthopedic surgical implants, where he found his calling within orthopedic sales. Frank’s honesty, work ethic, and ability to connect with doctors earned him deep respect among the medical community.
His orthopedic experience inspired him to establish White Star Medical, Inc. in San Antonio, Texas, building the company alongside his greatest partner and asset, his wife Peggy. After selling White Star, he retired in Southlake, Texas, to be closer to family.
When Frank wasn’t working, he was always active. He loved golfing, fishing, sailing, and playing the piano. Whatever he was doing, he was all in.
Frank embraced his Italian heritage with joy, especially around the dinner table. He learned how to cook from his mother, Ann, who gave him the famous red sauce recipe that will continue to be passed down for generations. A home-cooked Italian meal shared with family and friends, and a cannoli for dessert, was one of life’s simple pleasures Frank never took for granted.
Above all else, Frank was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle. He is survived by his beloved wife, Peggy Mahon, and his cherished daughters, Danielle Bradford (Dana) and Colleen Neely (Jeff), who were the source of his greatest pride. As a grandparent, he adored his six grandchildren, Lauren, Abby, Annie, Elizabeth, Josh, and Brooke and three great grandchildren, Kendall, Ford, and Liam. Frank is also survived by his brother Phillip Forcelli (Rose) and sister Joan Forcelli both of Valhalla, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you consider honoring Frank’s memory with a donation to the White’s Chapel Methodist Church at 185 S. White Chapel Boulevard in Southlake, TX. This would be in support of the new sports and student activity center. Frank treasured his time as a young person at the local recreation facility. If you prefer, we also invite you to honor Frank’s legacy in your own way by supporting a current student-athlete.
Frank Forcelli lived a spirited life, marked by hard work, adventure, loyalty, and love. He will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever admired by all who knew him.
