Frank Keith Graves

Frank “Kim” Graves was born in Kingston Ontario to Gertrude and Frank Graves (senior).

After moving out west as a teenager in 1966, Frank graduated from SFU and practiced as a chartered accountant. In his retirement years he enjoyed hanging out at his local park, chatting with neighbors and getting to know all the local dogs.

In his last few years, dad struggled with numerous serious medical conditions which he always faced with a positive attitude. We would like to thank all of the many healthcare workers that helped him manage his conditions with special thanks to the 6th floor team at Royal Columbian Hospital, all the nurses and doctors at the renal unit, and the amazing staff at McKenney Creek Hospice.

Ever the joker, dad left us on April Fools day. Conveniently also before the April 31st tax deadline.

Frank is survived by his siblings; Jane (Bob), Bill, (Barb) and Norma (Falco), his wife Irina, daughters Meghan (Ryan), Bronwyn (Chris) and his sons Artyom and Konstantin (Aziza). He is a grandfather of four; Morgan, Waylan, Aydin and Zaiyana.

He is predeceased by his parents and his two beloved dogs, Zappa and Bella.

In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to Diabetes Canada, the BCSPCA, or Ridge Meadows Hospice Society.
