It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frank B. Kresge after a valiant 3-year battle with cancer.

The son of the late Frank and Ruth Kresge, Frank was born on August 17th, 1948, and raised in Chinchilla, PA. He was a graduate of Abington Heights High School. The first in his immediate family to attend college, Frank earned degrees in education from East Stroudsburg University and the University of Scranton.

Frank was a fourth grade teacher in the Pocono Mountain School District for 36 years. He was known for his "creative" teaching style and his enthusiasm for his students. In addition, he coached Little League and girls' softball teams at the school district for several years.

Frank was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, rarely seen without a Braves baseball cap. His childhood hero was fellow lefthanded pitcher Warren Spahn. In his younger years, Frank also played softball and bowling in area recreational leagues.

After his retirement, Frank enjoyed spending time with his children and loved ones. He remained physically active and often took walks around the neighborhood. Frank appreciated the little things in life, like reading a good book, listening to music, and indulging his infamous sweet tooth. He had countless friends over the years, and he was always ready to strike up a conversation or lend a hand to someone in need.

Frank is survived by his sister Karen Fuller and her husband Ken, his former wives Jean Ann Miorelli and Bonni Kresge, his stepson Duffy Guschel, dear friend Carol Villoresi and his beloved children Juliana and Colton. Frank's children were the light of his life and brought him immeasurable joy. Whether it was playing a board game with Juliana, throwing the football with Colton or just spending time together, they were what kept him going during this difficult time.

His family will receive guests on Sunday December 7, 2025 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm in the Gilbert Funeral Home 444 Pershing Boulevard, Whitehall, Pennsylvania 18052, located one block south of the Fullerton Avenue exit of Route 22.

There will be no Service. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's name to your charity of choice.
