Frank McKenna

April 17, 1947 - December 31, 2019. Frank McKenna passed away suddenly on December 31, 2019. He was the son of Joseph and Cecile McKenna. He was born April 17, 1947 in Los Angeles, California and grew up in Los Altos HIlls, California until the family moved to Southern California in 1962 where he finished high school at Notre Dame in Sherman Oaks. He graduated from the University of New Mexico and worked in the restaurant business managing a chain of restaurants throughout the Southwest. Later, he transitioned into the audio visual electronics business which combined his knowledge of electronics and his passion for audio visual systems. He traveled around the United States advising corporations and production companies on the use of wireless communication systems for use onstage. He was an avid sailor and photographer spending many seasons racing his beloved sailboat Big Mon on Elephant Butte Reservoir and sailing around the Caribbean.
He loved hosting his weekly movie night at home using his state of the art TV and sound system. He was a regular at The Range restaurant in Rio Rancho where he held court. Good bye to the Admiral of Elephant Butte.

He was well loved and is missed by his friends and family. He is survived by his brother John.
