IN MEMORIUM

Today, February 25, 2026 is the one-year anniversary of Frank Toth's unexpected death. He is survived by: his daughter and son in-law, Lori and Chris Van Pelt; life partner, Maureen Foley; two sisters, Nancy Toth and Geri Marrone; several nephews and grand nephews.

Frank was born and raised in Carteret, New Jersey. He graduated from Monmouth University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. In 1968 Frank began working for the Boeing Company's Saturn Apollo Program at Cape Kennedy, Florida. Frank attended graduate studies at the Florida Institute of Technology and the University of South Floridia. He also worked for Honeywell Inc. in St. Petersburg, Florida and the National Cash Register Company in Millsboro, Delaware.

Missing home and family, Frank moved back to New Jersey in 1979 and entered government service at Fort Monmouth's Electronic Warfare Laboratory. As a project engineer, Frank held numerous positions of increasing responsibilities at the Electronic Warfare Laboratory and at the CECOM Software Engineering Center (SEC). In October 1988, he became the Branch Chief for the Sensors System section and held this position until his retirement in 2004.

Frank packed a lot of living into his 80 years. His nonwork life was spent: two stepping across the dance floor; touring and smoking cigars with his Harley motorcycle buddies; enjoying the Card Posse's weekly card games and jaunts to Atlantic City; providing support to the WeightWatchers' group that helped him reach his goal weight and achieve Lifetime Membership status; visiting/reminiscing with a childhood friend about "the good old days"; bantering with fraternity brothers regarding the latest electronic gizmos or the "state of the world" via Zoom; conversing with neighbors about local gossip and gathering family members together to celebrate life whenever possible. Frank embraced life to the fullest and he is sorely missed by all that knew him.

Lori Van Pelt and Maureen Foley wish to thank all of our family members, friends and co-workers for their loving support as we tended to Frank's affairs. We could not have put Frank to rest without your help and prayers. Although physically gone, Frank's spirit will live on forever in all of our hearts.
