Freda Lynne Baird (Prichard), 63, passed away on March 14, 2026, in El Paso, Texas. Born on June 15, 1962, in El Paso, Freda lived a life full of love, laughter, and adventure.

Freda is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 46 years, Robert Baird. Together, they built a beautiful family that includes their three children: Heather Doss and her husband Ben Doss, Bobby Baird and his wife Jaimi Baird, and Nicole Helms and her husband Nathan Helms. She was also the proud grandmother of three cherished grandchildren: Sadie Helms, Wylan Baird, and Adelynn Doss. Freda’s family was the center of her world, and she found immense joy in spending time with them.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary Eva and Gerald Prichard; her older sister Kathryn Carpenter; and her older brother David Prichard. Their memories remained close to Freda’s heart throughout her life.

Freda had a deep passion for the outdoors and all living creatures. She was an active member of the Timberon Fire Department and found fulfillment in serving her community. Her love for horses was unmatched—she especially treasured the time she spent with her beloved horse "Bits." Whether riding through the cool mountain air or driving her side-by-side vehicle to explore nature’s beauty, Freda embraced every opportunity to connect with the world around her.

Known for her incredible sense of humor, Freda had a gift for making people laugh until they cried. Her quick wit and playful spirit brought light to every room she entered. She loved telling jokes and sharing moments of joy with those around her. Described as a firecracker by those who knew her best, Freda’s vibrant personality left an indelible mark on everyone she met.

Above all else, Freda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who went out of her way to care for others. Her kindness knew no bounds, and she will be remembered for the countless ways she touched the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.

May Freda Lynne Baird’s memory bring comfort to all who loved her. Her legacy of laughter, love for nature, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
