Gabriela Brygyda Amenda

Gabriela Brygyda Amenda of Bridgeport, CT peacefully passed away in her sleep on February 5th at the age of 63.

She was born on April 9th, 1962, in Gorale, Poland. Throughout her life, Gabriela was known for her resilience, her sense of humor, her love for family, her strength, and her kindness to everyone she met. She had a heart that cared deeply in her own way, and she meant more to those who knew her than words can fully capture.

Gabriela is survived by her three children, Bobbie, Bridget, Jasmine and her daughter-in-law Lauren. Her siblings Halina and Bogdan, her seven grandchildren Elijah, Ayden, Ethan, Evander, Ayva, Jaelene and Jason Jr. her nephews Daniel, Jason, John and niece Jessica along with many other family members who will all miss her dearly. She is reunited in peace with her mother Bernadeta and father Jan, her grandparents and her beloved dog Baby.

While her passing leaves a deep ache for those who loved her, there is comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering and is finally at rest. She will always be remembered for her gentle compassion, her love of music, the way she turned ordinary days and holidays into lasting memories, her joyful laugh, her spontaneous adventures, and her gift for nurturing life…whether in people, pets, memories, or even the plants she brought back from the brink.

Services for family and close friends will be held on February 20th, 2026, at Holy Name of Jesus in Stratford, CT at 11am.
