Mrs. Gail Marie Bolognese (Wegner), 71, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026, in the comfort of her home in Jupiter, Florida, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 30, 1954, in Great Bend, Kansas, Gail lived a life marked by faith, determination, and love.

Gail was a woman of remarkable strength and resilience who devoted herself to both personal growth and the well-being of others. She began her educational journey studying interior design but continued to expand her horizons over the years. Gail earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Psychology. In addition to her academic achievements, she became a licensed massage therapist. Her professional career was diverse and fulfilling; she worked at Fort Knox in Kentucky, Barnett Bank in Florida, PGA National Resort & Spa, and ultimately retired from FP&L. Gail took great pride in her work and celebrated the opportunity to retire and spend more time with her loved ones.

Faith was a cornerstone of Gail’s life. She worshiped at Faith Lutheran Church and participated in Bible study fellowship at Holy Spirit Church. She also attended the Via de Cristo leadership program, which further deepened her spiritual connection. When visiting family in New Port Richey, Florida, she cherished attending services at Faith Lutheran Church there as well. Gail’s unwavering faith guided her through life’s challenges and inspired those around her.

Gail was known for her quick wit and sharp sense of humor, often making people laugh with her clever sarcasm. Beneath her tough exterior was a heart full of love and kindness. She expressed affection in her own unique way—her signature hugs accompanied by a heartfelt "pat pat pat" on the back were a testament to the depth of her love for those fortunate enough to receive them.

Family was central to Gail’s life. She is survived by her devoted husband of 28 years, Parry Bolognese, who brought immense joy to her life; her loving mother, Rose Wegner; her daughter, Kenitha Drury; and her granddaughter, Mekailah Drury-Enge. She is also survived by her four brothers—Larry, Ernest, Matthew, and Daniel Wegner—along with their wives and children. Gail shared a special bond with Riley, her beloved furbaby kitty cat. She was predeceased by her father, Lawrence Wegner.

In retirement, Gail embraced the opportunity to travel with her mother to visit family across the country—a tradition she eagerly anticipated each year. These trips were filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Gail’s final moments were a reflection of the love that defined her life. Surrounded by Parry, Kenitha, and Mekailah, she passed away while watching her favorite movie, *The Wizard of Oz*. As Kenitha sang every song from the film and the good witch told Dorothy how to go home by clicking her heels together, Gail took her last breath peacefully. Her home was filled with love as she transitioned into eternal rest.

Gail will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of faith, love, determination, and humor will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

May Gail’s memory bring comfort to all who loved her and may they find peace knowing she is now at rest. A Memorial Service will be held on March 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Faith Lutheran Church 555 U.S. Highway 1 North Palm Beach, FL. 33408.
