Gail Wiltshire Vorhees

Gail Wiltshire Vorhees, 85, of Schaumburg, formerly of Rolling Meadows, passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday, March 23, 2026, with her daughter close by. She was born April 15, 1940, in Chicago, IL to the late Lucille (nee Tanney) and Clifford Wiltshire.

Gail was the wife of the late Vance K. Vorhees; mother of Van Kristopher (Marcia) Vorhees and Kimberly Lou Vorhees; grandmother of Julie (Alex Mueller) Vorhees, Jamie Vorhees, and Kaitlyn Voegele; sister of Bill (Sandra) Wiltshire; aunt of Guy (Mary) and Wayne (Nancy) Tanney; good friend of Bob Lindquist; and best friend of Barbara Luniburg, Marlyn (John) Bowman, Donna Mudgett, Patty Alberts, Lisa Myers, the late Ceil (Ron) Zator, and the late Ester Klein.

A private family celebration of Gail's life is planned for August at her favorite place Big Sand Lake, Phelps, WI.
