Garlon "Joe" Edmond Kelley

Garlon Edmond (Joe) Kelley was born to the late Willa G Balfour (Kelley) and the late Garlon P. Kelley on March 10, 1955, in Gary Indiana. He graduated from the class of 1973 at Westside High School. Garlon E Kelley retired from Sheet Metal Workers Local Union 20 after 20+ years of dedicated service to the community. Joe was a devoted family member who always led with a helping hand to family and to those dear to him. Garlon E Kelley was called home on September 28,2025 and proceeded in death by his parents, his sister Joyce Turner and many more family and friends. Garlon Kelley leaves to cherish his memories of 1 brother Gordan Kelley, 2 sisters Cora M. Kelley and Sophelia I Kelley Ferguson, plus nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews and cousins along with a host of friends who he held deeply. Funeral service will be held at McDuffie Funeral Home 1525 Broadway Gary, IN on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Viewing 9:00AM-11:00AM with funeral immediately following at 11:00AM.
