Gary Ray Winemiller July 13, 1952 - September 27, 2023
Gary passed away peacefully in hospice in Clearwater Florida surrounded by his loved ones after a brief illness. Born in Piqua, OH to Albert and Bessie Mae (Wilson) Elsass. He grew up in Botkins, OH and graduated from OSU with a degrees in education and theater. He loved the arts, theater and music and had a strong fondness for cats, a true ailurophile. To those that knew him, he offered support without hesitation, friendship without condition and kindness in ways both large and small — always from the heart. His quiet strength, gentle spirit, and steadfast compassion touched countless lives. He retired from the Ohio Dept. Of Job and Family Services (Hamilton County)
Gary was predeceased by his mother, step-father, Raymond E. Winemiller and beloved partner of 41 years, Barry A. Smith.
