Gavin Micheal "Gav" Kramer, age 21, passed away on January 13, 2026, in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Born on April 5, 2004, in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, Gavin brought light and laughter into the world from the very beginning.

Gavin's life was defined by deep love and unwavering devotion to those closest to him. At the heart of his world was his beloved daughter, Olivia Anna Kramer. She was his pride and joy—his everything. Gavin's face would light up whenever he spoke about Olivia, and his dreams and hopes were always centered around her. Through her, his spirit will continue to shine brightly.

He shared a meaningful bond with Olivia's mother, Ares Hofius. Gavin loved deeply and wholeheartedly, and his relationship with Ares was a testament to that love—genuine, loyal, and full of heart.

Gavin was a cherished son to Jaime Kramer and Leroy Hartwell Jr., and stepson to Gabriel DeMatteo. The bond he shared with his mother was especially profound—filled with laughter, trust, and unconditional love. He was proud to be her son, and she was endlessly proud to be his mother.

As a brother, Gavin was fiercely devoted. He celebrated the victories of his siblings—Chase (Kiyah) Kramer, Skyler Kramer, Makayla Washington, Jakobe Mae, Noah Duos, Monroe, and Phoebe Duos—and stood by them through every challenge. His nephew Ramhaj also held a special place in his heart. Gavin's love for family extended far beyond immediate ties; he found joy in being part of a large and loving extended family.

He is remembered fondly by his grandmother Joyce (Robert) Loomis; aunts Shannon Cardwell; Andria and Brian (Lenny) Lenzen; Angela Washington; Sylvia Washington; uncle Derrick (Timbra) Washington; and many cousins: Hailey and Crysta Shoemaker; Colton Cardwell; Aiden and Xander Lenzen; Kendrick; Dominique; Alisha; Kiara; Precious; ShaDonald; ShaVaygo; SyRaya Washington; KingInfinit and Universal Allah; and Tia'Clashae Brock.

Gavin was preceded in death by his grandfathers LuVerne Kramer and Leroy Washington Sr.; grandmother Carolyn; and uncle Steven Washington.

Those who knew Gavin will remember him as effortlessly funny—goofy in the best way—and incredibly charismatic. His quick wit could bring laughter even in the darkest moments. But beyond the humor was a young man with a heart full of compassion. He noticed when others needed help or comfort and stepped in without hesitation. His kindness was quiet but powerful—an extension of the love he carried for those around him.

Though Gavin's time with us was far too short, the impact he made is immeasurable. He was a devoted father, loving son, caring brother, loyal partner, and treasured friend. His presence brought joy to every room he entered, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Rest peacefully, Gavin Micheal Kramer. You are loved beyond words and missed more than anyone can ever express. Your legacy lives on through Olivia and through every life you touched with your warmth, laughter, and love. A Service will be held on February 6, 2026, from 02:00 PM to 06:00 PM at Gearhart Funeral Home in Anoka 552 E. River Road
