Gerald was a hard working man with a big heart that loved everybody. He was very soft spoken and slow to anger.Gerald was also a very hard worker. You could never catch him in the house from sunup to sundown.

He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at the family church Golden Grove Baptist Church.

Gerald worked at the Occidental Chemical plant as a maintenance operator and retired in 2007.

Gerald graduated from Cypress Grove High School.

He is preceded in death by his parents Alfred Goff and Viola Ruffin Goff; Sister Etha Kennard; Brothers, Harold and Donald Goff and Albert Lovett Sr his son Aron Moose Goff; Goddaughter, Katherine Goff.

Gerald loved to fish day or night you couldn't pull him away and he always had to catch the first fish. His favorite saying was (GET THE NET).Gerald was also a die hard Saints fan, Who Dat.
