Gerald Edward Haskins

Gerald Haskins, 78, of Wooster, Ohio, passed peacefully on December 29th, 2025 at Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.

Gerald was born November 26th, 1947 to Ernest Clifford Haskins and Esther Evelyn (Markley) Haskins in Lodi, Ohio and grew up with his brothers Duane and Charles. He graduated from Rittman High School in 1967, before moving on to work at PCA until his retirement in 2005.

He married the love of his life, Agnes (Weigand) Haskins, on 06/27/1970 and they spent 47 loving years together before she passed in 2017.

Gerald and Agnes raised 4 children together, Michael (Sam), Michelle, Margaret (Bob) and Lilie (Freddie).

Over the years he loved playing softball, hunting, fishing, and watching sports on tv, but what he loved the most was being "Poppy" to his grandchildren, Jacob, Nathan, Ben (Katie), Beth (Nick), Braxton, Tim, Abby and his 8 great-grandchildren. He had no greater joy than watching them play and grow - and pick up all the toys along the way.

Gerald was proceeded in death by his parents, Ernest and Esther, and his wife, Agnes. He is survived by his brothers Duane and Charlie and their families, his children, grandchildren and great-grand children.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Murray Hall in Creston, Ohio on Saturday, April 25th from 12 pm to 4 pm.
