Gerald E. Stanke

Gerald "Gerry" Edward Stanke, age 78, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026. Beloved husband of 53 years to Patricia (Siefert) Stanke; loving father who was preceded in death by son, Thaddeus "Tad" Stanke; loving father to Laura (Marty) O'Brien, Kevin Stanke, and Matthew (Andrea) Stanke; proud Papa to Marty, Kaile, Mackenzie, Autumn, Brooklynn, Cheyenne and Micheal; son of the late Thaddeus and Dorothy Stanke; brother to the late Ronald (Kathryn) Stanke, Judith Stanke, Donna Stanke, Cynthia (Jon) Melkerson, Scott (Alice) Stanke, and Mark (late Donna) Stanke; cherished son-in-law to the late Jerome and Rosemary Siefert; brother-in-law, uncle and cousin to many. Gerry was dedicated to his family, loved to cook, travel and fish. He will be missed by all who knew him. There will be a mass held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at St. Gianna Church(formerly Queen of Martyrs) located at 10233 S. Central Park Avenue, Evergreen Park at 11:00 a.m.
