Gerard (Jerry) Sullivan Malone

Gerard "Jerry" Malone, 94, of Baltimore, MD passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025 . Jerry was born on April 24, 1931 to William J Malone and Rosemary (nee Sullivan) Malone. Jerry attended Loyola Blakefield High School and graduated from Loyola College. He served three years in the Navy before he began his career with Schoeneman's clothing and later Westinghouse. He married his longtime sweetheart, Carolyn "Jean" Malone in 1959, and they celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary earlier this year.
Jerry is survived by his wife Jean, daughter Lynn, son Timothy (Julie) and daughter Carrie. He was also the proud Pop of Brendan Welch, Allison Markovich (Marko), Anna Smith (Marshall), Amie Malone, Aubrey Malone, Jake Davis, Madeline Davis, Will
Davis, and Matthew Davis. He was preceded in death by his brothers Donald, William, James Edward "Ned", Thomas and sister Kathleen.
Jerry had the unique quality to make others feel good and treated everyone with kindness. His sense of humor and smile were sure to make you laugh. Jerry loved playing golf and dancing the jitterbug with Jean. His faith in God was central to his life, and he served with Our Daily Bread. He will be greatly missed by all!
A memorial service will be held this Saturday, December 6th at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church on the campus of Erickson Senior Living, 714 Maiden Choice Lane, Catonsville, MD 21228. Visitation is at 10:30, mass at 11:00, and a reception at Shannons Saloon in Ellicott City to follow.. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend.
