Germaine Mary Burgett

Germaine Mary Burgett, 72, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on February 24, 2026 in Tampa after a long illness.
Germaine was born April 7, 1953 to Edmund F. and Germaine (Bliss) Roche in Newport, RI. After she graduated from Rogers High School in 1971, she went to work as a legal secretary for Paul Burke, PA for a few years. She then moved to Florida where she was employed by Anderson Funeral Home in St. Petersburg and Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater. Germaine was later employed by Early Steps through Sarasota Memorial Hospital. She married Dan Burgett and they owned and operated West Coast Title Company in Sarasota for many years until Dan’s passing in August of 2000.
Germaine is survived by her son and family, Andrew and Britanny (Radcliffe) Pascoe, and grandchildren, Rylee and Aidan. She is predeceased by her sister, Judy (Roche) Knoth of Florida. She is survived by siblings, Barbara Foley of Largo, Florida, Edmund F. Roche of Middletown, RI and Joanne Russell of Palm Harbor, Florida, plus several nieces and nephews. Germaine’s love and warm hugs will be remembered by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by many family and friends.
