Glen Rossman, age 78, passed away on August 10, 2025, in Reno, Nevada. Born on July 30, 1947, in San Luis Obispo, California, he relocated to Nevada in 2015 and had homes in both Reno and Incline Village. Glen was a man who loved the water and his family. He greatly enjoyed politics, and enthusiastically discussed national political issues whenever allowed. He also had a great love for dogs and cats.
Glen graduated from San Jose State University in 1970 with honors and began his career in accounting, climbing the ladder and becoming the youngest partner at Arthur Anderson &Company. In his retirement years, Glen was an advocate for the mentally ill in San Mateo County, working closely with NAMI (National Alliance for Mentally Ill). He also sat on the board of Goodwill Industries. Glen also advocated for Special Education for his grandson Andrew, often attending IEP meetings with the Sacramento School District.
Despite being blind in his right eye from birth and color blind, Glen had an appreciation for accents of bold and beautiful colors in his homes in both Reno and Incline Village. He enjoyed piloting his C-Dory boat on Lake Tahoe, and he had a love for fast cars. In later life, Glen also took up cooking and sharing recipes with his daughter Jill.
Glen is survived by his younger brother, John Rossman of Santa Cruz, California; his daughter Jill Rossman Cox (Keith) and grandson Andrew Cox, of Tulsa, OK; his
granddaughter, Brianne Difalco (Joe) and great-grandchildren Cameron and Sophie, of Beaverton, OR; his son Peter Rossman; and his wife of 32 years, Anne.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Beverley and Robert Rossman.
Donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the American Legion, or the
American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Glen's name would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
