Gloria J. Stover, 74, of Westerville, OH, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026. Born on May 14, 1951, Gloria brought joy and creativity to all who knew her.
Gloria had a lifelong passion for comics, science fiction, and fantasy. She was an avid Yankees fan and spent many years amassing an impressive collection of art and collectibles. During the 1990s, she worked closely with local convention organizers, sharing her enthusiasm for the genres she loved. Later in life, Gloria discovered a talent for glass bead making, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her artistic spirit.
Her family and friends will fondly remember her radiant smile, infectious laugh, and exceptional cooking skills that brought people together. Gloria’s warmth and creativity left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Stover; her son Patrick Franz and his wife, Jennifer Brown; stepson Allen Stover; and Tara Johnson; grandchildren Vivian Walden (Kris Phillips) and their daughter, Scarlett May Phillips; Nadia Franz, Sylas Franz , Johnathon Stover and Audrey Stover. She was preceded in death by her mother Phala Gordon; brother James Gordon; daughter Rebekah Walden; son Andrew Franz; and stepdaughter Danielle Stover.
The family plans to hold a celebration of life at a later date to honor Gloria’s memory.
