Born on August 26, 1956, in Schenectady, Gordon remained deeply rooted in his hometown throughout his years. He was a god-fearing man whose faith guided him and brought strength to those around him. A lifelong lover of books and history, Gordon was known for his insatiable curiosity and thoughtful reflections on the past. His passion for storytelling found a special outlet in writing short stories for his grandchildren—tales that will be cherished for generations to come.

Gordon is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret; daughters Sarah, Cynthia, and Kristen; and sons Joseph and Peter. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
