Goston Johnathan Samuel-Davis, born March 15, 1985, passed away unexpectedly at his home in South Philadelphia on December 11, 2025. He was deeply loved and will be forever remembered by all whose lives he touched.

Goston was known for his warm spirit, infectious smile, and kind heart. He had a natural ability to bring joy into any room and was always willing to lend a helping hand. His presence was a blessing to his family and friends, and his memory will live on through the love he shared so freely.

He is survived by his loving mother, Denise Samuel-Pavlin; father, Sylvester Davis; stepfather, Andrew Pavlin; and stepmother, Merlinda Davis. He was a devoted father to his cherished daughter, Maliyaha Tillery, and adopted daughter, Harper Gray, who meant the world to him.

Goston is also survived by his siblings: Deston Nichols, Jamal Nichols, and Pape Diokhane, Ajani Davis; and his sisters Beth Christou-Davis, Alexis Davis, DJ Davis, Symone Dyer, and Yonique Nichols. He leaves behind his grandparents, Lawrence Lovelace-Samuel and Tina Lovelace, who held a special place in his heart.

He will be lovingly remembered by his many aunts: Leslyn Davis, Lorna Davis, Jacqueline Davis, Marilyn Davis, Delcina Williams, Jacqueline Daffalla, Miriam Jones, Denise Lovelace, Ava Lovelace, Alex Love, Ashley Lovelace, Tasha Miller, and Dee Miller; and uncles: Anthony Davis, Brian Questelles, Ali Daffalla, Paul Fabien, Michael Butler, Alex Love, and Dee Miller.

Goston also leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews: Kaiden, Lamar, Melanie, Nalanie, Onovia, Arial, Zion, and Azori; along with a host of cherished cousins, including Calvin, Delshan, Delanna, Anna, Tamara, Ian, Lynette, Dwight, Jason, Jahson, Dwane, Makayla, Leslyn, Khalidah, Sarah, Mohammed, Dawayard, Shamyam, Ajanae, Joshua, Aliyah, and Kayla, Nia, Briani and Zaria as well as many other relatives and dear friends who will miss him dearly.

Though his time with us was far too short, Goston's love, laughter, and light will remain forever in our hearts.
