Gregory John Gorski, 59, of Cody, Wyoming, originally of South Plainfield, New Jersey passed away in Billings Clinic in Montana on December 11th 2025.
Born July 2, 1966 to Chester and Maryann Gorski, he was the youngest of the family. After graduating from South Plainfield High School in 1984 he married and moved to Bartonsville, PA in 1988 where he raised a family.
Because of his love of nature and animals he joined the PA Game Commission from 2000-2009. In 2010 he moved to Cody, WY also working for the Wyoming Department of Fish and Game before opening and operating his own Cody Pet Depot franchise until 2022.
You would most likely catch him taking photos of animals in Yellowstone or talking about how bad he wanted to go fishing.
He is survived by his daughters Rachael (Willie) Carpenter, Josephine Gorski, ex wife Maureen Gorski, mother Maryann Gorski, brothers Glenn and Gary (Kristi), Aunts Charlotte Di Marsico and Beverly (Gene) Decker, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is predeceased by his father, Chester (2021) and nephews Shaun (2004) and Kyle (2022).
A memorial luncheon will be held in Cody at a later date. Donations in his honor can be made to Yellowstone Forever.
