Gregory Alan Kline, 76, of Maytown, Pennsylvania, died at home on the evening of December 15, 2025. He was the husband of Kathy (Tracey) Kline to whom he was married for 52 years. He was born April 21, 1949 in Windsor, Pennsylvania, and was the son of the late C. Allen and Doris (Keller) Kline.
Greg graduated from Red Lion Area Senior High School in 1967, where he played basketball and tennis, and performed in the choir. He was active in Boy Scouts, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout followed by serving within the scouting community as an adult. He graduated from York College of Pennsylvania with a degree in accounting and worked in accounting and finance management at various local companies in Pennsylvania and Oklahoma.
Greg was a devout Christian and active member of Glossbrenner Church in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania. He was a member of other congregations throughout his life including Emmanuel United Methodist (UM) in Windsor, Pennsylvania, Messiah UM in York, Pennsylvania, and Quail Springs UM in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was actively involved in the music programs of his churches and enjoyed singing in the choirs and performing with the bell choirs. He faithfully served in many other capacities including teaching Sunday school and assisting with church finances.
Greg cherished time with his family, being especially proud of his sons and grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved wife and his three sons: Jason Kline, M.D., of Philadelphia, David (Karen) Kline of York, and Nathan (Lara) Kline of Washington, D.C.; three grandchildren: Nicole, Gabriel, and Jacob; a brother, Bradley (Kathy) Kline of York; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Messiah Church, 1300 North Beaver Street, York, PA, 17404. Visitation will begin at 10am with a service to follow at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association (ADA).
