Greg Parker, 1941–2026

Greg Parker, born in 1941 in Pasadena, California, passed away peacefully of natural causes in Jupiter, Florida, with his family and beloved dogs by his side, overlooking the boats drifting along the Intracoastal - his favorite view, and a perfect reflection of the life he loved.

A man defined by vision, discipline, and an enduring sense of adventure, Greg built a life that seamlessly blended service, entrepreneurship, and a deep love of the sea. He earned his undergraduate degree in architecture from the University of Southern California and went on to receive his master’s degree in engineering from MIT, laying the foundation for a career marked by both creativity and precision.

Greg proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and continued his commitment to service in the Navy Reserves as a member of the Seabees. That same spirit of leadership and resilience carried into his professional life, where he founded American Constructors and built it into a highly successful and respected construction company. Through his work, he not only created structures, but opportunities—leaving a lasting impact on those who worked alongside him and the communities he helped shape.

At the center of Greg’s life was his family, and above all, his wife, Beth. Together, they built a life filled with adventure, love, and unwavering partnership.

A lifelong seaman at heart, Greg found his truest sense of peace on the water. He and his family and friends spent countless days out on the ocean, creating a lifetime of memories at sea. In his later years, he especially cherished his time as a member of the Cat Cay Club in the Bahamas, where his love of the ocean and community came fully to life.

Greg is survived by his wife, Beth; his children, Eric and Kelley (and their spouses Vanessa and Ivan) his five grandchildren: Morgan, Joey, James, Kathryn, and Gwendolyn; and great-granddaughter, Estelle Parker.

He will be remembered for the life he built, the family he loved, and the legacy he leaves behind—one defined by strength, vision, and a lifelong pursuit of adventure.
