Guadalupe Soto Flores

Guadalupe (“Lupe”) Soto Flores, 83, passed away on December 23, 2025 surrounded by family. Lupe was born in Santa Barbara, Chihuahua, Mexico, as the oldest of eight children, three preceded her in death. Lupe moved to California in 1975, but always stayed in touch with all her siblings and family, making sure they were doing well. She cherished praising the Lord, singing, reading the Bible, praying for, and with others, spending time with family and always wearing a smile on her face making connections wherever she went.

She was a loving, caring and devoted mother, grandma, and sister living a full meaningful life. Lupe was a great teacher to her children and grandchildren, who adored and loved her. Lupe was lovingly also known as Grandma or Granny.

Lupe was always the first to remember birthdays, celebrate a loved-one’s milestone and go above and beyond to help others. She is survived by daughters, Rosa Isela (Moises), Araceli (Richard), and sons Gabriel and Israel, (predeceased) who meant the world to her, as well as her grandchildren Julio Cesar, Rosa, Alexa, Elizabeth, Alejandra, Elizabeth, Sophia and Mario, great-grandchildren Julio, Jasmin, Italia, Isabella, Julian and Grayson Israel and great-great grandchild Adriel and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She lived life unapologetically with valor, strength, courage, service all with a contagious laugh. Lupe will be dearly missed.
