Gwen Doloris Ollison Turner

Gwen Doloris Ollison Turner was born on May 4, 1966, in Malvern, Arkansas, and peacefully transitioned on April 11, 2026, in Little Rock. The beloved daughter of Sherman Ollison and Elaine Williams, devoted wife to her high‑school sweetheart Dail Turner, and proud mother to her daughter, Naya, Gwen lived a life rooted in faith, joy, and generosity.

Baptized at The Church of Christ in Malvern, Gwen carried her love for the Lord throughout her life. She shared God’s word with warmth and sincerity, especially through her years as a Sunday School teacher. Gwen and Dail shared 49 years of life together and celebrated 29 years of marriage on April 2nd. She cherished her family deeply, especially her daily conversations with her mother, Elaine, siblings and especially her daughter, Naya.

A graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, Gwen built a remarkable 40‑year career at Wells Fargo, retiring as a Private Investment Banker. Gentle in spirit yet adventurous at heart, Gwen loved boating, camping, fishing, hunting, and riding her CanAm motorcycle. She created unforgettable memories, including the high‑school athletic season when she drove a car that only went in reverse — and still made it to every practice without incident. Her favorite color was lavender, her favorite bird the red cardinal, and she had a joyful love for “DPS” — dead people’s stuff — always finding treasures where others saw clutter.

Gwen is lovingly welcomed into heaven by her father, Sherman Lee Ollison Sr. She leaves behind a circle of family who will forever hold her close in their hearts: her mother, Elaine; her husband, Dail; her daughter, Naya; her brothers Sherman “Nod” Ollison Jr., Paul “White” Ollison, and Ronald “Scott” Ollison (Robin); her sister, Pamela Ollison; her nephews, Trevor and Ryan; and a host of relatives and friends who cherished her deeply.

Gwen’s life was full of heart, humor, adventure, and grace. Her spirit — soft as lavender and bright as a cardinal — will continue to shine through all who knew and loved her.
