Hanna H. Hanna, age 84, of Braintree, formerly of Quincy, died peacefully, Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, surrounded by his loving family.

Hanna was born in Mlikh, Lebanon, to the late Habib and Khalayek (Matta) Hanna. He was raised and educated there. Hanna immigrated to the United States in 1986, settling in Quincy, where he lived for eighteen years. He lived in Braintree for the past twenty-one years.

Hanna worked as a banker in Lebanon for many years.

He was an active member of Our Lady of the Cedars of Lebanon Church in Jamaica Plain.

Most of all, Hanna enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was devoted to his family - especially his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Beloved husband for fifty-eight years of Wafaa (Maroun) Hanna.

Devoted father of Jacqueline Hanna Saab and her husband Samir of Braintree, Fadi Hanna and his wife Widad Tannous of Weymouth, and Wissam Hanna and his wife Christie Dagher of Braintree.

Loving grandfather of Sandra, Andre, Jonathan, Kaila, and Matthew.

Dear brother of Miriam Hourani of Lebanon and predeceased by Attalah Hanna, Farhat Hanna, Hanneh Abouzeid, and Souraya El Hajj.

Hanna is also survived by his brother-in-law and best friend, Maroun Abouzeid; his brother-in-law, Nassim Abouzeid; his sisters-in-law, Zahra Ibrahim and Faride Zeidan; as well as many nieces, nephews, and their families.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Monday, November 24, from 4 - 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Cedars of Lebanon Church, 61 Rockwood Street, Jamaica Plain, on Tuesday, November 25, at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery, West Quincy.
