Hans C. F. Wriedt was born in London, England on July 19, 1936 and died in Hampton, NH on December 31, 2025. He was predeceased by his father, Hans F. Wriedt, founder of Nord See Fisheries in Europe who escaped Germany in 1935 and later worked with the FBI to oppose the Nazi regime during WWII. He was also predeceased by sons-in-law Donald E. Sisto and W.Dean Eastman.

Hans was a brilliant man and respected attorney. He was a veteran of the US Army and a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy, Yale University (class of ’58), and Harvard Law School, earning his LLB in 1961.

He is survived by his sister, Rose C. A. Wriedt; three daughters, Ann Sisto, Jean Wriedt and Syhia Eastman; and three beloved grandchildren, Samuel Sisto (Claire), Emily Sisto and Eric Hirsch.

A charismatic man and loyal friend, Hans valued the love of family above all else.
