Harlan was the beloved father of Emily Hunt Wallace and Margaret Hunt Toon. He shared close bonds with his sons-in-law, Johnson Wallace and Eric Toon. His grandchildren—Crawford Wallace (Abigail) Will Wallace (Kate), Hunt Toon (Audrey), Harrison Reid (Alex), and Elizabeth Reid (her fiancé Tyler)—brought immense joy to his life. Harlan also delighted in the company of his many great-grandchildren, whose presence enriched his later years. He was the eldest brother to Ray Hunt and June Hunt.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Haroldson Lafayette Hunt and Ruth Hunt; his daughter Cindy Reid-Hunt; his son-in-law Pat Reid; and many other beloved family members who held special places in his heart.
