Born on June 10, 1932, in Fernwood, New York, Harlen lived a life marked by dedication and service. He proudly served his country in both the Navy and the Air Force, embodying a steadfast commitment to duty and honor throughout his military career.

Harlen was predeceased by Pat Thornhill, Earlene Thornhill, and David Thornhill. He is survived by Sheryl Ramsey, Mark Thornhill, Jimmy Thornhill, Patricia Mitchell, and Donna Ireland. His legacy lives on through those who knew him as a devoted father and cherished friend.
