Harry Louis Dall, 77, of Waterloo, NE, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2026, in Apache Junction, Arizona surrounded by the love of his devoted family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Rose Dall. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Karen, his children, Traci (Ron) Nusser, Jenny (Joe) Negrete, Nicole (Jason) Peters and Scott (Jamie) Dall, grandchildren, great grandchildren, 3 sisters and 1 brother.
From a young age Harry showed his determination, and entrepreneurial spirit starting work as a paper carrier at just 11 years old and changing his first transmission by the age of 14. Following high school, he served his country in the Navy for 3 years, an experience that he was profoundly proud of, and in recent years it would be a rare occurrence to see him without a Vietnam Vet hat on.
Harry found joy in his passion for cars, founding H&K Auto Restoration, where his meticulous attention to detail and love for classic cars earned him the respect of the community. When health challenges arose, he and Karen embarked on another adventure together, Crown Point Storage, which they built from the ground up and proudly and successfully ran for 25 years.
A true craftsman and collector at heart, Harry's love for restoring and painting extended beyond cars to his vast collection of classic toys and trains. He took pride in sharing his collection with visitors, ensuring that first time guests left with memories and likely a story or two from an hour-long tour.
Harry's devotion to his family was evident by his dedication to Wednesday night family dinners that began with his parents in 1979 but grew over the years to include all of his immediate family and any friend or family that wanted to share in our traditions. He was also dedicated to the organizations close to his heart which included being a long-time member of the Midwest Street Rod Association and a lifetime member of the VFW and DAV.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held on February 6, 2026, from 4-9 PM at VFW Post 2503, 8904 Military Road, Omaha, NE 68134. Military Honors at 5pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to VFW Post 2503 in memory of Harry.
