Harry Karl Knudsen, age 67, of Braintree, died suddenly, Monday, December 1, 2025 at Brockton Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Harry was born in Quincy, to the late Harry Robert and Velma L. (Scott) Knudsen. He was raised in Wollaston and North Quincy, and was a graduate of North Quincy High School, Class of 1977, where he excelled at swimming, wrestling, and football. He furthered his education by taking classes at the former Boston State College. He lived in Braintree for the past forty years.

Harry was employed as a machinist for Symmons Industries in Braintree for nearly twenty years where he enjoyed many friendships.

He was a Mason and former member of the Quincy Masonic Temple.

Harry and his wife, Lorraine, took many vacation cruises over the years. He enjoyed tinkering around his house and helping his children around their houses. Most of all, Harry was a helpful person who enjoyed spending time with his family, particularly Sunday dinners at the home of his son, Karl, as well as camping and "forced family fun" days. He was especially devoted to his grandson, Jaxon, and loved being his Papa.

Beloved husband for forty-five years of Lorraine M. (Daly) Knudsen.

Devoted father of Karl R. Knudsen and his wife Jennifer of Rockland, Cecelia M. Pukt and her husband Jason of Whitman, and Dianna C. Knudsen of Braintree.

Loving Papa of Jaxon R. Knudsen.

Dear brother-in-law of Jo-Ann Hogan of Braintree and her late husband Loren, Suzanne Daly of Rockland, and the late William J. Daly and his late wife Elda.

Harry is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and their families, as well as his grandpups.
