Harry Lovato

Harry Joseph Lovato, born on March 25, 1946, in Rawlins, Wyoming, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026, in Goodyear, Arizona. He was 80 years old.

Harry was the son of Maximillian and Elizabeth Lovato and the second of five children. He was preceded in death by his brothers Max Phillip, Lawrence, and Everette. Harry is survived by his sister Evelyn (Floyd) Gonzales and his uncle Frank (Elma) Fisher. His legacy also lives on through his nieces Nanette, Venesa Gonzales, Benita “Penny” Mclaurin, Judy Kuehster, Yvette (Uche) Lovato-Nsonwu, and Misty Lovato (Steve Bosch) and nephew Duane Lovato-Repsis; great-nephews Ondre (Yaa) Smith and Uchenna Nsonwu; and great-nieces Celina Marquez and Niya Nsonwu. Great-great niece Afia Smith and great-great nephew Mateo Smith.

A proud graduate of Rawlins High School in 1964, Harry went on to serve his country with honor in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Enlisting in 1967, he worked as an Electrician and achieved the rank of 2nd Class Petty Officer. Following his military service, Harry pursued a career as a Master Electrician and became the owner of L&L Electric. His dedication to his craft earned him respect within his community and among those who worked alongside him.

Harry had a deep passion for family and cherished the connections he built throughout his life. He was also an avid reader whose curiosity knew no bounds. His ability to engage with people from all walks of life reflected his versatility and open-mindedness.

In accordance with Harry’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. Those who knew him are encouraged to celebrate his memory privately in their own meaningful ways. Harry’s spirit will undoubtedly remain with all who were fortunate enough to know him.
