Harvey Loochtan was a loving husband to his late wife, Arlene, a devoted father, and an extraordinary grandfather and great-grandfather. He peacefully left this world on February 25, 2026, at the age of 87. He was born to Ed and Selma Loochtan on November 15, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois. Harvey married the love of his life, Arlene, and was a proud father of three. The lights of his life were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were his greatest joy and proudest legacy. He was a hardworking, social, caring, and easygoing man who loved a good meal and a good laugh.
Harvey's legacy lives on through his children: Brian (Lisa) Lochtan, Scott (Eileen) Loochtan, and Tracy (Josh) Kadish; his beloved grandchildren: Samantha (Trent) Loochtan-Arcuri, Jonah (Alexa) Lochtan, Matthew Loochtan, Nicole (Alex) Carter, Sage Lochtan, Kyle Kadish, Ellaluna Lochtan, and Miles Kadish; and his treasured great-grandchildren: Oliver Loochtan-Fahey, River Arcuri, and Dutton Carter.
