Heather McCormick

Heather Paige McCormick, 39, passed away on November 21, 2025, in Westfield, Massachusetts. Born on February 14, 1986, in Newport News, Virginia, Heather—affectionately known as Paige—brought light and laughter into the lives of all who knew her.

A proud graduate of Bethel High School in 2004, Paige continued her academic journey at George Mason University, where she earned her degree in 2008. Her education laid the foundation for a life dedicated to service and advocacy. With a deep commitment to justice and community empowerment, she devoted four years to AmeriCorps, where she worked tirelessly to uplift others and champion causes close to her heart.

Paige was a woman of boundless energy and an adventurous spirit. Her love for the outdoors was matched only by her passion for music—especially as an avid fan of Phish. Whether hiking through nature or dancing at a concert, she embraced life with joy and authenticity. Her free spirit was infectious; her laugh could fill a room and lift even the heaviest hearts.

She is lovingly remembered by her parents, Marcus and Linda McCormick and Gail and John Wainio; her sister, Erica Hobday (Ryan); her brothers, Christopher McCormick (Fallon), Brad Davis (Allison), and Bobby Davis. Paige also held a special place in the lives of her nieces and nephews—Jayson McCormick, Olivia Walton, Harlan McCormick and Clara Davis—who adored their amazing aunt.

Heather Paige McCormick leaves behind a legacy of compassion, courage, and unwavering dedication to making the world a better place. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
