Helaine “Lainie” Levine of Lynn, Massachusetts, formerly of Revere, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 8th, surrounded by the love of her friends and family.
Lainie fought a courageous battle with cancer, but that battle never defined her. What defined Lainie was her strength, her spirit, and the deep love she had for her family and friends. She faced life with determination, grace, and a strong will that inspired everyone who knew her.
Lainie leaves behind her son, Brian Tavano, Shannon Buzzell his significant other and his four children, Lindsey, Brad, Ashley, and Drew. She also leaves behind her beloved daughter, Jill DiGiacomo, her son-in-law, Frank DiGiacomo, and their two children, Frankie Jr. and Ava, whom she loved dearly.
For over 30 years, Lainie worked in the airline industry with US Airways and American Airlines. Through her career, she built friendships that lasted decades, relationships that went far beyond coworkers and became lifelong bonds. Those friendships were a testament to the kind of person Lainie was loyal, genuine, and deeply caring.
Lainie had a love for travel, shopping, going to the movies, attending the theater, and enjoying concerts. She embraced life and found joy in experiences, laughter, and spending time with the people she loved most. She was strong-spirited, full of life, and truly loved by all who knew her.
Lainie’s presence will be deeply missed, but her love, her strength, and the memories she created will live on through her children, her grandchildren, and everyone whose life she touched.
