Helen Fletcher
Helen Fletcher, age 97, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026, in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Born on November 21, 1928, in St. Paul, Minnesota, Helen lived a long and fulfilling life devoted to her family, faith, and community.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 76 years Joseph, her infant daughter Nancy Jo, and her daughter-in-law Vicki Fletcher.
Helen is survived by her children: Greg (Debra), Mike (Debbie), Keith (Carol), Joan Bisek, Jean Auger (Michael), and Nancy Lowell. She was also blessed with 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren who brought joy to her life.

Helen and Joe created a loving home together, raising their family in Little Canada, Minnesota. In their retirement years, they moved to Akeley, Minnesota, where they embraced the tranquility of life on Crow Wing 11. While there, Helen became an active member first at St. John's of Akeley, and later at Our Lady of the Pines in Nevis, where she frequently read scripture and administered the sacrament of Communion. Helen and Joe also enjoyed golfing at Tianna Country Club in Walker, MN. Her days were filled with meaningful connections as she socialized with friends there and spent many hours volunteering at the Senior Citizens Center in Akeley.

After three decades Up North, Helen and Joe returned to Vadnais Heights to be closer to family. Following Joe's passing in 2024, Helen moved to Harbor Crossing. There she found comfort in new friendships and lively conversations. Her radiant smile brightened every room she entered. She enjoyed her new friends and tried hard to never miss happy hour or a good musical performance. Her contagious smile lifted the mood of all around her.

Helen loved to laugh and had an upbeat attitude throughout her life. Helen's legacy is one of laughter, warmth and connection. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort and peace to those she leaves behind.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on March 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at St. John's the Evangelist, 380 Little Canada Road, followed by internment in the Church Cemetery. Visitation at the Church from 10:00 to 11:00.
