Helen "Domina" Daughtrey Garraty, 59, of Ocala, Florida passed away on November 17, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. She passed peacefully at home with her loving husband, Dennis, and beloved dog Tucker, by her side.

Later in her career, she transitioned to working for the Ocala Police Department. Domina enjoyed cooking and baking, especially baking, and was an excellent cook known for her delicious chocolate chip cookies. She loved sun and water, and some of her happiest moments were spent at the beach, particularly Daytona Beach, which held a special place in her heart. She was also a huge Florida Gators fan and season pass holder cheering them on whenever she could.

Domina chose not to have funeral services and wanted those who loved her to remember her in life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests you donate to Mayo Clinic and dedicate your donation to her memory.
