Helen Rita Rice

Helen Rita (Cloutier) Rice, 84, of Hampton, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Born on November 7, 1941, in Lancaster, New Hampshire, Helen was the cherished daughter of the late Victor and Alice (Lambert) Cloutier.

Helen graduated from Groveton High School in 1960 and pursued a career in healthcare. She became a certified X-ray technician and further specialized as a nuclear medicine and radiation therapist. Her dedication to her profession reflected her compassionate nature and commitment to helping others.

Helen shared an extraordinary bond with her husband, Paul Rice. Together they celebrated 63 years of marriage filled with love and devotion. She was also the proud mother of her daughter, Cambrea Fisher, and found immense joy in spending time with her beloved grandson, Miller Fisher.

A woman of deep faith, Helen's Catholic beliefs guided her throughout her life. Her kindness and acceptance of others were unmatched; she had a warm smile that brought comfort to everyone she met. Helen's presence left a trail of hope and inspiration for those fortunate enough to know her.

Helen found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved gardening and tending to flowers, watching birds, collecting jewelry and precious stones, cooking delicious meals for her family, and cherishing moments with her grandson, Miller.

Helen was passionate about cooking and took great pride in preparing meals that brought her family together. Her kitchen was a place of love, laughter, and lasting memories. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, kind heart, and the deep love she had for her family.

In addition to her parents, Helen was predeceased by her siblings Donald Cloutier, Eugene Cloutier, and Rita Robertson. She is survived by her husband, Paul Rice, her loving daughter, Cambrea Fisher, and her treasured grandson, Miller Fisher.

Helen's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May the legacy of her compassion and warmth continue to inspire those she touched.

A celebration of life for Helen will be held on June 14, 2026, at The Winners Circle, 211 Elm Street, Salisbury, MA, 01952, from 1 pm to 5 pm.
