Herous Manoukian, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. He was born on January 2, 1958, in Tehran/Iran to Ardash Manoukian and the late Eriknaz Zardoorian.
Herous pursued his passion for engineering at Indiana Tech, where he graduated and went on to build a respected career in Fort Wayne. He worked diligently on numerous engineering projects throughout Northwest Indiana. Those who knew him respected his commitment to this work and the pride he took in providing for his family.
Above all, Herous was a devoted husband, loving father, and a loyal friend. Family was the center of his world. He was known for his generosity, quiet wisdom and he steady support to give to those he loved. Herous was a quiet man filled with jokes and life. He loved cooking, learning, and watching Tv/Movies with his family.
Herous is survived by his loving wife, Lora Manoukian; his son, Toddeh; his daughters, Minelli and Careena; and a large and loving circle of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
Herous’ funeral service will be held on 03/18/2026 in Armenian Apostolic St. Mary’s Church in Glendle California. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park -Hollywood Hills.
