Hilda Carole (Saul) Mott passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026.
A 1956 graduate of Salem High School, Hilda started her career at New Jersey Bell on January 8, 1957, and retired on February 11, 1992, after 35 years of dedicated and faithful service.
She is survived by her son, John (Sarah); her cherished granddaughters, Katy and Allie; her nieces, Robin (Wes) and Jennifer (George); and her extended family of cousins, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Mary Beth, her parents, Wilford A. Saul and Mary E. (Monroe) Saul; and her brother Wilford F. Saul.
She was loved dearly for her gift of staying connected through phone calls, thoughtful greeting cards, and always making others feel remembered and appreciated.
Hilda will be remembered for her enduring love of animals (especially dogs and horses), excitement to watch horror movies, her resonant positivity, and her ability to always recognize the best in every situation.
A graveside service will be held on January 19, 2026, at 10:00 am at Eglington Cemetery, 320 Kings Hwy, Clarksboro, NJ 08020.
