Hope Hollander

Hope Shirley Hollander, 56, of San Diego, California, passed away on February 27, 2026, after a brief illness. She was born on October 28, 1969 in Baltimore, Maryland, to Shirley T. Hollander and David H. Hollander, Sr. (both deceased). She attended Oldfields School and Mary Baldwin College before graduating from the University of Maryland in 1991. She worked for several years in the Northern Virginia area before relocating to San Diego. Hope had an entrepreneurial spirit, operating a successful clothing store on eBay for many years. She also loved dogs, especially her long-lived Maltese, Muffy. She is survived by her brothers David H. Hollander, Jr. (wife Maya Ajmera) of Washington, D.C., and Frank T. Hollander (wife Joyce Chen) of Bellevue, Washington, and two nieces, Talia and Ai-Li.
