Howard J. Klein, a versatile creative executive whose career spanned marketing, publishing, and the casino industry, died on December 29, 2025. He was 90. Born December 26, 1935, in Brooklyn, Mr. Klein was a gifted cartoonist and writer before earning a business degree from New York University. He built a distinguished career in marketing, helping shape the public identities of companies including TelePROMPTer, Murray-Allen Imports, and the New York Jets. A creative entrepreneur at heart, he later founded a novelty candy company and published several acclaimed books. In midlife, he reinvented himself once again, becoming a senior executive in the gaming industry, with leadership roles at major Atlantic City casinos including Caesars, Bally's, the Taj Mahal, and the Claridge. After retiring, Mr. Klein remained active as a consultant to private clients in gaming and entertainment and as a columnist for financial publications, including Seeking Alpha. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Paula; his sons, Bruce, Marc, and Philip; his daughters-in-law, Hillary, Noa, and Karin; and his grandchildren, Isabel, Ben, Julian, and Philip's two sons.
